Flower Fiesta's next class opportunity will be Monday January 23, 2012
Interested in floral design and floral education? We will instruct you in flower care and basic arranging.
More floral design classes will be added on an as needed basis. Sign up on our Contact Us page to receive class notification.
Interested in DIY flowers for a wedding or special event? You can receive hands on floral instruction by getting just five friends to take a floral arranging class with you. There is no cost for floral design classes, other than the cost of flowers and supplies.

Flower Fiesta owner and designer Geri Ann Alviso will be the instructor for this flower class.
We will have a variety of popular cut flowers available for each student to handle and practice with.

You must bring your own floral scissors or knife, as well as pruners for cutting the greenery. If you do not have these items, please let the instructor know well in advance. If you'd like us to reserve a brand new pair of our most preferred $19 Japanese floral snips, please call well in advance.

INTERMEDIATE Flower Arranging class $40.00

We will instruct you in creating a mixed arrangement in a glass vase that can be given as a gift or used in your own home/business. Each student will take their arrangement home after class.

Flower Arranging Class: Design a Thanksgiving Centerpiece!

Flower Fiesta owner and designer Geri Ann Alviso will be the instructor for this beginner level flower arranging class. This class is provided for free, with a $60 fee to cover the cost of the flowers. Each paying student will be able to take their floral centerpiece home! Student bystanders who attend with a paying student are allowed for $8.00.
We will use a mix of fresh autumn flowers and fun accents to create a long, low dining table centerpiece in floral foam.

Pot Garden Trip

Road trip!
Join me on an adventure to find the perfect pot, sculpture or fountain as we walk through acres of beautiful glazed and terra cotta finish pottery and stoneware.
$25 fee to attend gets you all the pottery that you can squeeze onto your truck at my wholesale rate.
For example, $120 wholesale buys a set of two EXTRA LARGE pots ranging from 20-28" in diameter. There are smaller size sets and such an abundance of styles, textures and price ranges. See photos from their catalog below. You can find Tuscan pottery, Japanese sculpture, amphoral urns and chocolate terra cotta.
We will meet at the pottery garden in Hayward, CA (about 2 hours from Sacramento) at 11am and shop til we drop! Tell your fellow gardeners.
